What To Do When You Lack Motivation

One of the hardest obstacles I fight while working at home is a lack of motivation.  My clients pay me in advance for a certain number of hours a month.  I use a paper calendar to schedule client hours during the month so I don’t have to scramble to finish all the hours in the last week of the month.  Sometimes, though (like yesterday and today) I don’t feel like working.  I procrastinate, go back to bed for a while, get engrossed in a good book, etc.

Eventually the guilt gets to me and I drag myself to my desk and get started.  I’d love to learn how to overcome this obstacle.  If you have any ideas feel free to leave a comment on this post!
